Park Avenue has at various time hosted rugby union (1880-1895), rugby league (1895-1907) and cricket (1880 to date) in addition to association football (1895-1899, 1907-1973, mid 1980's-1988).

The Bradford Cricket, Athletic and Football club is not only the forbear of  Bradford (Park Avenue) FC, it also played a major role in the history of Bradford & Bingley RUFC, Bradford Bulls and Bradford & Bingley Cricket Club  And the Yorkshire County Cricket Club played first class cricket at Park Avenue for over a century.
